Silence means survival in “A Quiet Place”.
John Krasinski directs and stars opposite his real-life wife, Emily Blunt, in the thriller which sees a family living in isolation and total silence, in fear of the mysterious unknown creatures that attack at any sound. The movie marks the first time the couple will have appeared on-screen together in a feature film.
Krasinski debuted the full-length trailer for the film, which also stars young deaf actress Millicent Simmonds, during his appearance on “The Ellen Show” on Monday.
The upcoming thriller is Krasinski’s second time behind the camera after directing 2016’s indie drama “The Hollars”.
“A Quiet Place” will make its debut at SXSW in March before landing in theatres on Apr. 6.
