Danger, Will Robinson!
“Lost in Space” is finally coming back to television after 50 years with a brand new Netflix series.
In the first full trailer for the new series, the Robinson family are trapped on an alien planet after an explosion on a station in outer space.
Exploring the planet, the young Will Robinson, played by Max Jenkins, becomes the first human to discover intelligent alien life while his family works to get off the planet and back home.

The first teaser for the series gave fans their first look at the cast playing the famous Robinson family, including Canadian actress Molly Parker as Dr. Maureen Robinson.
Shot in Vancouver, the reboot of the classic series, which ran 1965-1968 and later inspired a 1998 film adaptation, follows the Robinson clan as they head out on a journey to the stars to start a colony in space, only for an accident to leave them stranded in space.
“Lost in Space” also stars Parker Posey as Dr. Smith, a charismatic master manipulator with some devious plans, and Ignacio Serricchio as Don West, a roguish blue-collar contractor with no intention of joining the colony before the crew’s crash landing on a lost planet.

While people on Earth are only now getting their first taste of the new “Lost in Space”, those in space were lucky enough to see an entire episode. Earlier this month, Netflix gave the first episode of the series to NASA, and it was transmitted to astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
“Lost in Space” premieres on Netflix April 13.
