Topless Kate Upton Swept Off Rock By Massive Wave During Sports Illustrated Shoot: ‘Everybody Was Very Scared’

Things got a little rocky for Kate Upton during a photoshoot for Sports Illustrated‘s swimsuit 2018 issue.

The publication’s Instagram posted a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot. Upton, 25, stood topless on a rock formation, wearing a long skirt and covering her nipples with her hands.

A large wave started to gain momentum behind the supermodel. An assistant climbed up to grab Upton’s hand, but her would-be hero was a split second too late.

The body of water blasted Upton from behind, causing her to lose her footing and tumble off the rock. Everyone immediately ran to check out on the supermodel, who was relatively unharmed.

“Oh s**t, oh s**t” an onlooker could be heard shouting as Upton crashed down.

Rewinding and replaying the clip part way through, Upton provided play-for-play commentary on exactly what happened: “The next wave coming, it didn’t look that large from my point of view but it must have hit the rock just right and caught on.”

‘This skirt whenever it’s wet with all the tools it is very heavy and it dragged me down,” she further explained. “Everybody was very scared especially MJ.”
