Jason Bateman is a fan of Drake’s OVO sweatshirts… at least the one ET Canada’s Matte Babel was wearing when he sat down with the actor to chat about his new big screen comedy “Game Night”.
“You know Drake says he’s a fan of ‘Ozark,'” Bateman says. “Maybe he’ll send me some clothes.”
The actor reveals season two of the critically-acclaimed Netflix crime drama – which sees a man relocate his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks after his dealings with a drug cartel go very, very wrong – is expected to premiere “September-ish,” according to Bateman.
Before Bateman returns to the Ozarks later this year, he’s heading to the big screen on Feb. 23 with the dark comedy, “Game Night”.
The movie follows a group of friends whose regular board game night turns into an actual murder mystery. Co-starring Jesse Plemons, Michael C. Hall, Chelsea Peretti, Kyle Chandler, Bateman had to explain to his frequent co-star and friend, Jennifer Aniston, why the actress wasn’t playing his on-screen wife.
“When I told her about Rachel McAdams…” he trails off jokingly. The real-life pals have starred in five movies together including the comedies “Horrible Bosses” and “The Switch”. “I’m not sure how to answer this. I can just hear the headline being written. Rachel was so fantastic. She’s just so easy to get along with and she’s so good at what she does,” he says.
