Gold Medallist Shaun White Apologizes For Calling Sexual Harassment Allegations ‘Gossip’

Snowboarder Shaun White is apologizing for being dismissive of sexual harassment allegations against him.

During a press conference Wednesday in PyeongChang, South Korea, the gold medallist was asked about a lawsuit that he settled in May with a former Bad Things bandmate Lena Zawaideh alleging sexual harassment and whether they would affect his reputation.

“I’m here to talk about the Olympics, not gossip and stuff,” White said, according to The Associated Press. “I don’t think so.”
