For Chelsea Handler, money really does grow on trees.
The star of Netflix’s “Chelsea” revealed to fans on social media she was developing her own line of marijuana. “I want everyone to know that I’m going to a weed farm today. Yep. I’m gonna go pick a grow,” she told her followers. “It’s called a grow for those of you who are not in the know.”
Handler, 42, joked how the ganja is the “only f**king thing that’s kept me sane” since Donald Trump became President of the United States.
“I’m going to come out with my own line of weed, I decided,” she explained. “I want people to understand that you don’t have to get blottoed [sic]. You can just get a little, nice buzz to take the edge off.”
The comedian shared a photo from her field trip: “Doing my due diligence on weed grows so I know how I can best help spread the word. Weed is fun again and in controlled doses. I’m into it big time.”
Handler is not the only famous marijuana activist getting into the biz. Last month, Mike Tyson announced plans to open a 40-acre cannabis ranch in California City.
