Lisa Marie Presley Claims She’s $16M In Debt Following Divorce

Following her divorce from Michael Lockwood, Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley, claims she’s $16 million in the hole.

Presley and Lockwood, who share twin daughters, filed for divorce in 2016, and Presley detailed her debts in response to Lockwood’s $450,000 demand to cover his attorney fees.

According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, Presley is more than $16.7 million in debt, as she has yet to pay $10 million in tax bills as well as a $6 million mortgage and a $47,800 credit card bill. On top of all that, Presley also owes tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees.

Her documents state she earns a monthly salary of $4,361 from her late father’s estate and receives $100,000 in dividends and interest from investments.

Back in 2017, Presley submitted a different court file claiming she owed the IRS $1.5 million, owed the U.K. government more than $5 million and owed $250,000 in state taxes, in addition to hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional debt.
