Diane Keaton went Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday party, and while she was there she found herself falling for a new man.
The legendary actress appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Tuesday and recalled the wild time she had at the host’s birthday bash.
“Okay, let’s not talk about that birthday party,” Keaton said when DeGeneres brought it up. “No, man. Too much for me, man.”
It turns out Keaton was pretty starstruck the whole time, but there was one star in particular she had her eye on.
“I want to talk about Chris Martin,” she said. “He was with Dakota [Johnson]. They’re a couple, got it? So, what I’m saying is… He’s gorgeous. That face got better with time.”
“He was wearing a hat like this,” Keaton added, gesturing to her own baseball cap. “It was to die for.”
DeGeneres then brought up the fact that the 72-year-old didn’t actually know who Martin was.
“I didn’t. That’s the other problem,” Keaton admitted. “I didn’t know who he was, but I saw him, and I noticed that he was gorgeous.”
Later in the interview, DeGeneres got Keaton to play a game of “Ellen’s Most Interesting Questions”, with the first one off the bat being, “Who do you think is the sexiest man alive?”
After a pause, Keaton brought up that “once upon a time” she did have boyfriends, and one of them she still thinks is the sexiest man alive. “Maybe you don’t agree, but for me, Al Pacino,” she said. “I thought he was like, that guy, but you know he didn’t care for me very much. But he was sexy.”
Asked to name one word to describe her sex life, Keaton said, “Do you want me to be honest? Well I would say I don’t have one. It’s gone. Gone. I don’t participate in that.”
But when DeGeneres hit the button to find the next question, Keaton interrupted: “Well maybe sometimes, on occasion.”
“Well let’s think about it, I mean give me a break,” she added. “Maybe Chris might someday be interested in me.”
