Kate Moss surprised photographer Mert Alas at his birthday party in London’s MNKY HSE restaurant by popping out of a cake and singing a Marilyn Monroe inspired rendition of “Happy Birthday.”
The Turkey-born fashion photographer, who is a close friend of Moss, took to Instagram to share photos of the moment when the 44-year-old supermodel jumped out of his giant cardboard cake.
“I mean I literally had Kate Moss came out of my bday cake,” he captioned one of the snaps.

Alas also uploaded a video of Moss’ breathy performance of “Happy Birthday,” simply captioning the post “Miss Moss 🖤.”
The party, which took place during London Fashion Week, was a star-studded event attended by the likes of Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, Lindsay Lohan and Doutzen Kroes.

Moss was in town co-hosting the British Vogue Fashion and Film Party With Tiffany & Co. for a post-BAFTAs afterparty on Sunday night.
