Rachel McAdams is reportedly going to be a mom.
Congratulations are in order for the Canadian actress who is pregnant with her first child, sources tell E! News.
McAdams, 39, has been keeping a low profile of late, skipping the red carpet premiere and interviews for her new movie “Game Night”, which opened in theatres this week. She was last snapped in public in September at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport in a baggy jacket and large scarf draped over her midsection following the premiere of her drama “Disobedience” at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The actress has reportedly been seeing “Dear John” screenwriter Jamie Linden, 37, since 2016. Sources speculate McAdams is approximately seven-months along in her pregnancy after she was spotted dining with Linden at an Atlanta restaurant this week.
Back in 2009, McAdams told People she’d love to start a family, citing her mom as an inspiration.
“Having a few [kids] would be great,” she said. “My mom is a great inspiration to me… She’s a nurse and very nurturing and gentle. She lets me be who I am. Hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her.”
ET Canada has reached out to McAdams’ rep for comment.
