The Weeknd Rescued Oprah Winfrey From An Awkward Exchange With Leonardo DiCaprio

Everyone has run into somebody they don’t recognize at first, but fortunately for Oprah Winfrey she had the perfect wingman when this recently happened to her.

Oprah, 64, retold an awkward encounter with Leonardo DiCaprio, on Thursday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.

While attending DeGeneres’ star-studded 60th birthday bash, Oprah ran into two celebrities she could not quite recognize. The first was Canada’s resident “Starboy” The Weeknd.

“Oh, that’s the Weeknd?!” Oprah remarked, not recognizing The Weeknd’s new hairdo. And then a gentleman wearing a ball cap, white t-shirt and black jacket walked up to the media mogul.

She initially described the man as “this guy,” wondering if he was perhaps Justin Timberlake?

The Weeknd quickly caught onto Oprah’s confusion and offered up an all-star assist, asking the mysterious figure about his latest film. The man in question, Leonardo DiCaprio admitted it “wasn’t good” for him, allowing Oprah to follow up and deduce the identity of the Oscar-winning Best Actor.

“I can’t remember in my life having that much fun,” she said fondly of DeGeneres’ party. “I don’t know what happened to me.”
