It’s official! The highly anticipated fourth “Rush Hour” film is in the works… according to Chris Tucker.

While speaking on ESPN’s podcast “The Plug”, the actor and comedian confirmed that he will be reprising his role alongside Jackie Chan for “Rush Hour 4”.
“It’s happening,” said Tucker. “This is gonna be the rush of all rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”

However, Tucker didn’t provide any further details about when the film will be released or who will be directing.
Brett Ratner, who directed all three “Rush Hour” movies is currently facing numerous sexual harassment allegations.
In October 2017, Chan revealed that he had turned down several scripts over the years, but finally agreed to one with the contingent that Tucker join him for the potential fourth entry in the action-comedy franchise.
“’Rush Hour 4′, we’re all like old men,” Chan said. “Before we get old, I tell Chris Tucker, before we get old, please do the ‘Rush Hour 4’.”
