Kim Cattrall is mourning the passing of her brother.
The “Sex and the City” actress attended a private memorial service for Christopher Cattrall on Saturday.
“Thank you to St Cuthbert’s Parish Minister in Edinburg Reverend Peter Sutton and our wonderful, joyful Scottish friends for making us laugh today,” Cattrall captioned a photo honouring her brother. “Lighting a candle in memory of our brother, son, father and husband, Christopher Adrian Alexander Cattrall. Forever in our thoughts. R.I.P xo.”
Cattrall, 61, announced the death of her brother in early February. “It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall,” she tweeted.
Cattrall has been in a bitter, public feud with “Sex and the City” co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, who the former accused of “exploiting” the death of Cattrall’s brother to “restore” Parker’s ‘nice girl’ persona.”
“Your continuous reaching out is a very painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now,” Cattrall posted on Instagram after SJP shared her condolences on social media. “Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend.”
Cattrall’s brother was found dead on his property in Blackfalds, Canada. No cause of death has yet been revealed.
