Country music fans got quite the surprise over the weekend as Gwen Stefani joined her country music star boyfriend, Blake Shelton, on stage.
Stefani made an unannounced appearance during Shelton’s “Country Music Freaks” tour stop in Moline, Ill. to perform their 2016 duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”.
In a fan-captured video, the musical couple kept their eyes on each other for the entire performance, with Shelton even exclaiming after the first chorus “That’s Gwen Stefani!.”
The 48-year-old “Sweet Escape” singer made another surprise appearance over the weekend during Shelton’s stop in St. Louis, posting photos on Instagram of their onstage embrace.
The real-life couple co-wrote “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” for Shelton’s 2016 album “If I’m Honest”. Shelton and Stefani also co-wrote “You Make It Feel Like Christmas”, the title track for the pop star’s 2017 Christmas album.
