Pamela Anderson’s brief 1995-’98 marriage to Tommy Lee can be generously described as tumultuous, but in an exclusive new interview with PEOPLE the former Baywatch star admits the Motley Crue drummer remains the love of her life.
“There was Tommy and then there was nobody else,”; she says. “He was the love of my life. We had a wild and crazy beginnings that was too much for both of us.”;
Despite the couple’s passionate romance, Pamela admits that they may have rushed into things. “It really was love at first sight,”; she says. “I only knew him four days before I married him.”;

Although they couldn’t make the marriage work, their relationship had some lasting positive results for both ex-spouses. “I had beautiful children with him,”; she says. “My kids are grateful to be born out of true love. Everything else I was trying to piece together.”;
Since their divorce, Pamela says she and Tommy remain close. “We’re good friends, we’re getting better at co-parenting our kids,”; she says. “He’s such a supporter of mine and I’m really happy we’re on such great terms.”;
