Donald Glover Meets Young Girl Scout Who Reworked His Song To Sell Cookies

Donald Glover finally met the viral Girl Scout who used a reworked version of his Grammy-nominated hit “Redbone” as a sales pitch to sell Girl Scout cookies.

During an interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, addressed the video sensation, “Childish Gambino’s for the children, man,” he explained.

He added, “It’s beautiful, but it’s also crazy to me. I never was like, I’ll make this and then one day a girl will sell Girl Scout cookies to it… It’s pretty great. I was touched.”

After host Stephen Colbert brought out little Charity Joy Harrison and her dad to meet Glover, the “Atlanta” writer and actor bought all those decadent treats for himself, Colbert and the audience.

“I’ll take ’em all,” he said. All 113 boxes of Harrison’s cookies.
