Report: Stars To Wear Anti-Gun-Violence Pins At Oscars

While stars were sporting Time’s Up pins during the Golden Globes and other award shows earlier this year, a source tells The Hollywood Reporter that they’ll be wearing pins to promote a different cause on Oscar night.

In the wake of the horrific Florida school shooting that left 17 dead, the gun-control advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety (founded by former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg) has created special pins for celebs to wear when they attend Hollywood’s biggest award show on Sunday.

A “celeb fashion stylist” tells THR that the pins have been designed, produced, and sent to key Hollywood talent agencies so they can be handed out to stars before they make their way to the red carpet.

While it’s not known what the pins look like, THR makes an educated guess that the organization’s slogan, #NeverAgain, will be part of the design.

Meanwhile, it’s also expected that many celebrities will be wearing Time’s Up pins at the Academy Awards.
