Miranda Lambert is opening up about her experience with heartbreak, amid rumours of her split from boyfriend Anderson East.
According to Knox News, during Lambert’s concert in Knoxville, Tennessee on Thursday, the 34-year-old country music star opened up to fans about dealing with heartbreak through writing songs.
“I make it my mission every single time I step on the stage that no matter what, no matter where I am, I want to make you feel everything you could possibly feel,” she reportedly said. “I want you to feel sad, mad, happy and nostalgic and really pissed sometimes. That’s my favourite.”
Lambert added, “And part of feelings is also heartbreak unfortunately, but fortunately for me, I can use it for my art or whatever. I like to write sad songs. I like to listen to sad songs, so I want to sing y’all one.”
Us Weekly reports that Lambert and East, who celebrated their two-year anniversary last September, prompted breakup rumours after fans noticed they were both missing from each other’s social media for quite some time.
Fans were also quick to note that Lambert follows East on Instagram, while the rhythm and blues musician does not follow her in return.
ET Canada has reached out to Lambert’s rep for comment, but hasn’t heard back.
