The first look at one of TV’s most highly anticipated revivals is finally here.
With the return of the legendary sitcom “Roseanne” only a few weeks away, the first footage was revealed during the 90th Academy Awards on Sunday.
The minute-long trailer offers fans the first look at what Roseanne, Dan and the rest of the Connor family are up to in 2018.
In the original series finale, John Goodman’s character Dan passed away from a heart attack. However, that idea was thrown out, and the comedy wasted no time cracking jokes about it.
“Why does everybody always think I’m dead?” Goodman’s Dan tells Roseanne in the trailer.
Almost the entire original cast will be part of the reboot. Goodman and Barr will be joined by Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey and Johnny Galecki.
Sarah Chalke, who played Becky for three seasons, will also appear in a different role.
“Roseanne” premieres on March 27.
