Bill Paxton, Adam West And More Left Out Of Oscars In Memoriam

After the annual In Memoriam tribute at the Academy Awards, viewers at home noticed a few people were missing.

While Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam sang a stripped down version of the late Tom Petty classic “Room At The Top”, many noticed the gaping holes in the tribute to the year’s beloved members of Hollywood who have passed.

One fan even pointed out on Twitter, that even though Petty’s song was used the late singer’s photo did not flash in the montage.

Among the notable snubs were Bill Paxton and Adam West.

Paxton, who died the morning of the Oscars in 2017 didn’t make it in that night’s live show but didn’t seem to make it this year either.

David Ogden Stiers of “M*A*S*H”, who passed away at 75-years-old on Saturday, was missed as well.

Twitter also thought Mary Tyler Moore was left off the 2018 tribute, but she was in fact honoured in the 2017 In Memoriam Oscars segment.
