Kate Middleton’s elementary school play predicted her life pretty well.
In a newly surfaced video, a 13-year-old Middleton brought out her acting chops to a play while she attended St. Andrew’s Preparatory School in Buckhold, England.
In the scene, the young Duchess of Cambridge, dressed in white with flowers in her hair, meets a fortune teller who pretty much tells her who she will eventually marry.
“Soon you will meet a handsome man, a rich gentleman,” the student playing the teller can be heard saying.
“It is all I ever hoped for. Will he fall in love with me?” Middleton replied.
“Indeed he will,” the fortune teller said.
In the following scene, we spot Middleton again, but this time she’s with the predicted suitor who is down on one knee to ask her to, “only say yes to me.”
To which, she replies, “Yes, yes, dear William!”
And many years later, Middleton does meet her “handsome,” “rich,” “gentleman,” named William… Prince William.
The couple married in April 2011 after meeting at University of St. Andrews.
Middleton and William are currently expecting their third child together.
