Playing the role of Mike Wheeler on “Stranger Things”, Finn Wolfhard shows the world he has a talent other than acting, he’s also a musician.
The Canadian actor is the frontman of a band called “Calpurnia”. Managed by “Royal Mountain Records”, “Calpurina” are currently working on their debut EP and are set to join Mac DeMarco as a part of the inaugural “Royal Mountain” festival lineup in September.
Drawing musical inspiration from “Nirvana”, the band of four officially released their first single “City Boy”. “We’re super proud of it! Listen to it once, twice, or as many times as you want!” the band shared in a recent Instagram post.

“Calpurina” played a show at “Rough Trade New York” in the New Year, where they received great reviews. “Calpurina are already impressively promising, with all signs pointing to them being very much the real deal” wrote “NME”‘s Rhian Daly.
Keep your eye out for their EP, the 15-year-old’s band is entering the music world at full speed and they don’t show signs of slowing down.
