Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated International Women’s Day by inspiring young women to reach for the sky.
The engaged couple attended an event in Birmingham were they encouraged female students to break free from stereotypes and pursue studies in fields like mathematics and science, according to The Mirror.
The Telegraph reported Markle and Harry took part in app building and other science and engineering exercises with the students.
The couple then visited with Birmingham’s young Coach Core apprentices as they took part in training to become sports coaches and mentors.
Harry and Markle also greeted onlookers waiting outside the events, and in one adorable moment Markle embraced 10-year-old Sophia Richards who told the royal-to-be that she wanted to be an actress.
“Meghan told me that I can achieve whatever I want to achieve,” Richards told People. “And Meghan said she would like to see me on TV when I become an actress.”
“It was a dream come true. I will never forget this day,” she added.
