The cast of “Modern Family” comes together to make a plea for stricter gun control laws in the U.S.

In a video posted to Sarah Hyland’s Instagram account, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ariel Winter, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Nolan Gould and Ty Burrell join the young star in calling for new gun control laws.
“We send our condolences and support to the people of Parkland,” Tyler Ferguson began.
Hyland continues by sending support to those “fighting for common sense gun laws.”
O’Neill and Vergara talk about the hope protesters are inspiring, that lawmakers will stop putting the interests of the gun lobby “ahead of what’s best for our children.”

“You’ve shown young people, you’ve shown everyone it is not enough to just like posts and retweet,” Hyland adds. “We all need to get involved.”
“We will be right there by your side as Americans take to the streets on March 24,” O’Neill says.
