Prepare yourself for what’s sure to be one of the weirdest films of 2018.
The first trailer for the 2018 Sundance favourite “Sorry To Bother You” dropped this week and it’s already climbing people’s lists of the most anticipated movies of the summer season.
The film, directed by rapper Boots Riley, stars “Get Out” and “Atlanta” star Lakeith Stanfield as a man named Cassius “Cash” Green who, hard up for money, manages to climb the corporate ladder by putting on a “white voice”—with a vocal performance by David Cross—while working as a telemarketer.
IndieWire called the film “the WTF movie of the year” at Sundance.
“Sorry To Bother You” also stars Tessa Thompson, Armie Hammer, Danny Glover and more, and will hit theatres July 6.
Fans on Twitter reacted to the weird and wild trailer with massive excitement.
