Kanye West has returned to the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming to record some new music and it looks like he’s brought Travis Scott along for the trip.
The 40-year-old rapper arrived at the mountaintop retreat on Saturday night with wife Kim Kardashian and is said to be working on his next album, according to reports first posted by Twitter account TeamKanyeDaily and later picked up by TMZ.
Over the weekend, Scott, who is a frequent collaborator of West’s and the boyfriend of Kylie Jenner, shared a photo on Instagram of himself wrapped in a winter jacket while at the snowy location.
The snap led to speculation that the “Goosebumps” hitmaker was there to work on new music with West, who is known for collaborating with a wide array of artists and performers on his projects.
Scott, who recently became a father, joins the likes of Nas, Kid Cudi, The-Dream, rapper King Louie, ASAP Bari, and producers Pi’erre Bourne and Jeff Bhasker, who were all previously spotted in the area.
It was first reported last year that West was recording new music in Wyoming, following the “Gold Digger” rapper’s on-stage meltdown at a concert in Sacramento in November 2016.
West checked himself into hospital for stress and exhaustion and later retreated from the public spotlight to focus on his family and his music.
“Kanye loves to escape to Wyoming to record his music because it is peaceful and he can lock up and really focus on getting tracks done,” a source previously told E News.
The father of three released his last album, Life of Pablo, in 2016, which became his seventh number one album on the Billboard Top 200.
