Jake Paul released a new YouTube video this week with a plan to put an end to school shootings.
In the video, the popular YouTuber and younger brother of Logan Paul, visited with survivors of the Parkland, Florida, shooting last month in which 17 people died.
Paul also met with parents of Parkland students, and spoke to U.S. Senator Marco Rubio to discuss the shooting and what can be done to make sure shootings become a thing of the past.
After his discussions, Paul put forward a 5-point plan to fix things: Make school windows bulletproof, more school resource officers, hold social media responsible, equip kids with bulletproof shields in backpacks, and school checkpoints.
Paul also announced he was donating $25,000 and paying for two buses to help kids get to the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C., on March 24.
Many were critical of Paul’s plan though, noting that it doesn’t include any laws for stronger gun control.
Paul responded to concerns about his lack of a plan to deal with guns by tweeting out his suggestions for what should be done on that issue.
Some also pointed out that Paul has featured assault-style rifles in his YouTube videos and has a tattoo of an assault rifle on his leg.
