WATCH: David Cassidy Rants About Bankruptcy, Divorce In Trainwreck TV Interview

Back in the 1970s, David Cassidy was a wildly popular teen idol who packed stadiums, sold 30 million albums and starred in hit TV series The Partridge Family.

Cassidy appeared on U.K. chat show This Morning to discuss his situation, but became agitated and testy with the affable hosts, at one point even arguing with them via satellite from his soon-to-be-former Florida home.

Later, Cassidy discussed his divorce, slurring his words as he did. “It’s a difficult journey when you’re going through a divorce, is it not for anyone?”; When the hosts attempted a follow-up question, Cassidy became agitated: “Wait, wait, wait, don’t interrupt me,”; he exclaimed in the increasingly awkward uncomfortable interview, with the star apparently struggling to hear and comprehend the questions, complaining he was hearing “echoes”; in his earpiece.
