Kelsea Ballerini strips down OneRepublic “Apologize” to turn it into a yearning acoustic country ballad.
Earlier this week, the “I Hate Love Songs” singer stopped by BBC Radio 2’s “Chris Evans Breakfast Show” where she showed off her singing chops in front of guests James Corden and Kylie Minogue.
Nodding along to the contempaltive ballad, Mingoue mimics swinging a baseball bat indicating Ballerini knocked her performance out of the park.
The Grammy-nominated “Apologize” spent six weeks at the top of the music charts when it debuted in 2006 and was later remixed by Timbaland in 2007.
Ballerini has been performaning across the U.K. and Ireland as part of the 2018 C2C: Country to Country Festival before jetting off to Australia to continue her Unapologetically Tour.
ET Canada recently caught up with the country star in Nashville where she dished on her recent wedding and opening up for lady Antebellum on tour.
