It’s thought Meghan Markle also spent U.K. Mother’s Day with Her Majesty on Sunday.

The latest royal news came as Prince Harry admitted he was left “shocked to the core” by some of the stories about war veterans suffering with mental health problems as he spoke out at King’s College in London Thursday.

The 33-year-old, who spent 10 years in the army himself, spoke on behalf of himself and his wife-to-be Markle as he delivered a moving speech at the Veterans’ Mental Health Conference at the college’s Strand Campus.

The royal added, according to the Daily Express: “I have seen those I have served with suffer, struggling to seek out the help they desperately need. And we know there are more just like them who continue to suffer in silence.

“And when the individual doesn’t or can’t reach out for help, it is also their families who suffer, especially their spouses and children, who are left feeling desperate and confused as they try to seek appropriate help for the ones they love.”

Harry then said, however, that despite meeting people who were in “the darkest of places,” he still felt surrounded and inspired by “amazingly positive outcomes.”
