Of course when we had a chance to speak with Tatiana Maslany on the TIFF red carpet we wanted to hear all about the upcoming season of the hit show “Orphan Black”.
The actress didn’s reveal any spoilers or anything like that, saying, “I know very little,” revealing that the producers usually “keep her in the dark.” And that’s not always a bad thing: “I don’t understand plot, it just wouldn’t happen for me… it would just confuse things.”
As for the feel of the upcoming season, “there’s definitely a call back to the thriller aspect of season one and the sort of breakneck pace of it and the conspiratorial aspect.” If you loved season one then you will be very happy to hear that “there’s a little bit of a nostalgic sort of allusion to season one in it.”
As for what she binge-watches on her time off, she reveals she’s screening Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp”;, telling us: “I’ve only been watching comedy, I haven’t been watching anything serious.”;
