Rumours of a rift between pals Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss have been running rampant — heck, even Jennifer Lawrence has admitted she’d like to know what’s up with the two because it’s been “keeping me up at night.”
The rumours began when Kloss shared a photo on Instagram on Jan. 1 to promote her contribution to the LOVE Magazine advent calendar, in which she’s playing basketball. The caption — “Swish Swish” — was seen by some as supporting “Swish”, the diss track from Swift’s arch-rival Katy Perry (Kloss later removed the caption).
Speculation heightened when Kloss was photographed exiting a restaurant with a group of people, one of whom happened to be Perry. People began to wonder if the Kloss-Swift friendship somehow became a feud.
However, in an interview with the New York Times to discuss her new college-preparation bootcamp and scholarship program, the model insists that nothing could be further from the truth.
“Don’t believe everything you read,” Kloss, 25, told the Times, with the newspaper adding that she and Swift “continue to be good friends, and they talk frequently.”
