Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder Wears Donald Trump Clown Mask While Drinking Wine

By Shakiel Mahjouri.

Eddie Vedder got a little wild during Pearl Jam’s set at Lollapalooza Chile on Friday.

The 53-year-old rocker called on a crowd member to toss something onto the stage. The item in question was a Donald Trump clown mask.

Vedder dove for the unflattering recreation of the incumbent U.S. President, before slipping it over his head. The Pearl Jam frontman proceeded to shake his rump for the live audience and guzzle wine straight from the bottle through the mask.

And the rock star was in a giving mood. According to Billboard, Vedder dove into the audience on two separate occasions to share wine with a select few of the estimated 80,000 in attendance.

Vedder even attempted to speak Spanish, reading a short speech from a notebook. “We’ve spent a week in Chile and we’ve met a lot of cool Chileans, people with smiling eyes, faces and souls,” he said in Spanish.

“We’re going to play a new song, ‘Can’t Deny Me,’ about united people who have more power than the government,” he continued. “We’ll record during this song to show my country how a large group of very united people with good energy looks like.”
