After seven long seasons, the cast and crew of “Scandal” are bidding farewell to their beloved show.
Star actress Kerry Washington and creator Shonda Rhimes shared photos and sentiments from the last day on the set of their hit show.

“And that’s a series wrap on ‘Scandal’. I could not be prouder,” tweeted Rhimes. “A lot of tears. A lot of love. Forever grateful for every second.”
“Heading home,” Washington tweeted in her own post. “This was the most unforgettable FRATURDAY ever!!!!!!!!”

And those two were not the only stars sharing love and affection for “Scandal”. Actors like Katie Lowes, Scott Foley, and Bellamy Young all tweeted about the final day of production.
“Scandal” premiered in April 2012 and will conclude six years later when the series finale airs on Thursday, April 19.
