British actress Emily Blunt has an American husband (former Office star John Krasinski), so it was only a matter of time before she became an American citizen, and she joins Ellen DeGeneres this morning to talk about having just attained citizenship.
“Now you have to learn a whole lot of things to become a citizen,”; pointed out Ellen about the test taken by prospective Americans.
“I know more about the Constitution and government than most American citizens,”; admitted Emily.
Ellen’s wife Portia de Rossi was born in Australia, and likewise became an American citizen, and the host admitted of the test she had to take, “I don’t even know these questions.”;
