As Donald Trump Jr. and soon-to-be ex-wife Vanessa prepare to “go their separate ways” following their divorce announcement, reports are surfacing that the eldest son of President Donald Trump was unfaithful during his marriage and had a brief affair with singer Aubrey O’Day while she appeared on “The Celebrity Apprentice” in 2011.
In an old “Celebrity Apprentice” clip surfaced by a user on Twitter, O’Day talks openly about wanting to impress Trump Jr. because she has a crush on him.
“Don Jr. makes me nervous because his opinion means a lot,” O’Day says. “He’s done this for a very long time. And also I have a very big crush on him, so I don’t want to disappoint him.”
Earlier this week, a source told Us Weekly, “Things started up with Aubrey and Don Jr. toward the end of the taping,” while “multiple sources” confirm that their affair began at the end of 2011 and continued until Trump ended it in March 2012.
“When it started, they were very serious all of a sudden,” a source close to O’Day told Us Weekly. “He told her it was over with his wife, that they were separated and he didn’t love her — all of that stuff … Aubrey fell for him hard. She thought they were going to be together for real.”

Trump, 40, allegedly ended the affair after his wife discovered emails from O’Day, 34. The couple reportedly reconciled.
The New York Post‘s “Page Six” column quotes a source who claims that Trump “pursued her. It was him who chased her. He told her that his marriage was already in the process of dissolving.”
Added the source: “I think his marriage to Vanessa was over long before Aubrey came along.”
According to “Page Six”, it was Trump’s father who slammed the brakes on the adulterous affair, with the source saying Trump Sr. “pressured [Don Jr.] to stay in his marriage,” while another source says that the elder Trump told his son to “knock it off.”
Meanwhile, TMZ points out that the former member of Danity Kane may have left evidence of the alleged relationship in plain sight with her 2013 song “DJT”, which is about an affair and boasts a cryptic title that just happens to match the initials of Donald J. Trump.
In addition, a source tells Us Weekly that O’Day’s 2012 remix of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” is also about Trump, featuring such lyrics as: “Now and then I think of when we were together / Like when you told me that your marriage was a lie.” She also sings: “But you were scared to ruin your family’s name / Your wife’s the only one glad we are over.”
