Last year was a big one for Moore with “Still Alice”, telling us the buzz “actually started right here in Toronto.” Of course now there’s Oscar buzz for this film too, “I’ve been coming to TIFF for so long, honestly my first festival here was in 1993.”
“I always love it here, I think it’s a festival where people really appreciate film,” but of course one of the big reasons why she loves coming here are the fans “it’s very very exciting, the audiences are so warm and welcoming.”

Another thing Moore couldn’t keep quiet about was her new BFF Ellen Page, “we’re like peanut butter and jelly.”
The star went on to sing the young actress’ praises, telling our Natasha Gargiulo, “She’s the best, she’s so talented and honest and forthright and open and sensitive and present. I just adore her and I was lucky to have her as a partner in this movie. A partner on and off screen, it was a privilege to get to work with her.”
