In a recent red carpet interview with Fred Savage, the 39-year-old actor/director gave ET Canada an inside look at what is to come in his new comedy series “The Grinder”;. Premiering September 29th, the series stars Rob Lowe as a Hollywood television lawyer, who is forced to move back to his home town and is convinced his time on TV qualifies him to run his family’s law firm.

“It’s great, it’s fantastic. I don’t know anyone more gracious or hard working or thoughtful or kind than Rob.”; Savage stated after asking what he thought of his new boss.

The show will also feature a ton of celebrity guest spots. “We just finished, Christina Applegate just finished a great guest starring turn, we had Nat Faxon how just had a great guest star. So we’ve been slowly getting, we’ve been getting some great, great people and I think you know it’s even more exciting, the show hasn’t even premiered yet and I think just based on the strength of the scripts and the material, we’ve been able to attract great guess stars. It’s really exciting.”;
