Matt Bomer wants everyone in his hometown to see “Love, Simon”, and Kristen Bell feels the same way.

The “Magic Mike” actor posted on Instagram announcing that he bought out the 4 p.m. show of “Love, Simon” on Sunday, March 25, in Spring, Texas, and is offering free tickets to residents, calling it “an important movie.”

Bomer, who came out as gay publicly in 2012, talked to OUT Magazine last year about growing up in a conservative household and the importance of coming out.

“Telling your family is a huge, huge deal,” the actor said. “I really view my life as divided between the time before I told my parents, and the time after. And the decisions I made, and the life I lived, before and after, are vastly different. It’s night and day.”

“Love, Simon” tells the story of a high school student, played by Nick Robinson, struggling with being gay and coming out of the closet to his friends and family, and Kristen Bell says that after watching the film she’s become a huge fan — so much so that she’s following Bomer’s example by buying out an entire theatre in Minneapolis for a free screening of her own.

“Love, Simon is a KNOCKOUT. There are so many important stories that don’t get made. I am so grateful this one did. ❤I had absolutely nothing to do with the making of this movie — I just have a huge crush on it and I’d like to share the love. Minneapolis, please enjoy a screening of Love, Simon this Sunday on me. :) Enjoy!,” she wrote on social media.
