Taylor Swift Makes Donation To March For Our Lives: ‘No One Should Go To School In Fear’

Taylor Swift is taking a break from her regular, cat-filled Instagram posts to talk about something important, gun violence.

The singer took to the platform to announce a donation to the March For Our Lives campaign, which is focused on bringing gun violence to an end, and to speak out about the ongoing problem.

“No one should have to go to school in fear of gun violence,” Swift wrote. “Or to a nightclub. Or to a concert. Or to a movie theatre. Or to their place of worship.”

She added, “I’ve made a donation to show my support for the students, for the March For Our Lives campaign, for everyone affected by these tragedies, and to support gun reform.”

Swift then shared her support for the victims of the Parkland High School shooting, “I’m so moved by the Parkland High School students, faculty, by all families and friends of victims who have spoken out, trying to prevent this from happening again.”
