Michael Buble is back!

After stepping away from his music career following son Noah’s cancer diagnosis in 2016, the Canadian crooner stepped back into the spotlight to host the 2018 Juno Awards, where he thanked his supporters, including Russell Peters and Bryan Adams, who filled in for him at last year’s ceremony.

“If you’re watching, boys, and I know that you probably are, you’ll never know what it meant to me,” Buble said during his opening monologue.

After thanking his fans and gushing about wife Luisana Lopilato’s pregnancy, the singer even cracked some jokes, telling the crowd, “No, it’s not Jim Cuddy’s baby!”

ET Canada spoke with Buble on the red carpet, where he revealed he’s feeling “healthy and happy.”

“Emotionally, it’s a roller-coaster,” the 42-year-old admitted. “I think life sort of teaches you these hard lessons sometimes. Part of that lesson is that it allowed me to really have perspective, and to really enjoy more than I ever have in my life. I enjoy the small things.”

Buble, who took home the award for Adult Contemporary Album Of The Year at Saturday’s Juno Gala Dinner and Awards, also offered a positive outlook as he shared his excitement to celebrate Canadian music.

“There’s gonna be ups and downs and stuff, but I feel a huge sense of pride ’cause I love my country,” he gushed.
