The terminally ill youngster who had his dying wish granted by Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans has passed away, with the sad news shared on social media by Fox News’ Shannon Bream.
Earlier, Reynolds, Evans and other stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe helped to make the dying wish of the 11-year-old boy, named Emilio, come true after Bream took to Twitter to ask for some help from the “Avengers” team.
“Deadpool” star Reynolds, 41, responded after “Captain America” Evans, 36, volunteered to grant young Emilio his dying wish.
The actors’ retweets meant the post received tens of thousands of likes, with both Reynolds and Evans telling the 47-year-old journalist to DM them.

Following Bream’s news of Emilio’s passing, former “Chuck” star Zachary Levi — one of the stars who reached out to the boy — shared his thanks to Bream “for spearheading this, and for giving us the honour of being even a small moment in Emilio’s short life.”

The sad news comes as Evans continues to promote his latest movie “Avengers: Infinity War”. Reynolds is also getting ready to release the eagerly anticipated “Deadpool” sequel, set to be released in May.
The Vancouver-born actor recently got into a Twitter war of words with “Wonder Woman” actress Gal Gadot, who accused him of “stealing her look.”
