Our first look at the upcoming fourth season of “Fear the Walking Dead” has arrived, offering a horrifying glimpse into the harrowing journey of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her fellow survivors of the zombie apocalypse in this prequel series to “The Walking Dead”.
Along with new series regulars Garret Dillahunt (“12 Years a Slave”) and Jenna Elfman (“Dharma & Greg”), the new trailer also serves up a familiar face: Morgan Jones (“Walking Dead” regular Lennie James), seen before the events that led him to encounter Rick (Andrew Lincoln) in the original series.
In addition to the trailer, AMC has also debuted the key art for the new season.
“In Season 4, we will see the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family through new eyes — the eyes of Morgan Jones (Lennie James), who is joining the story from the world of ‘The Walking Dead’,” notes the synopsis for the new season.
“The characters’ immediate pasts mix with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes and threats,” the synopsis continues. “They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart. There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; and the heroic, mercenary and craven, all crashing together toward a new reality for ‘Fear the Walking Dead’.”
The fourth season of “Fear the Walking Dead” premieres on Sunday, April 15.
