Craig David gave some lucky Londoners the surprise of their lives on Tuesday as he hopped on their bus to treat them to a private performance.
David, 36, who took to Twitter earlier in the day to announce he would be livestreaming a “special acoustic set,” belted out his much-loved track “7 Days”, along with his new single “Magic” from his latest album “The Time Is Now”.
The musician thrilled passengers, who were told they would be taking part in a market research exercise, with many running down from the top deck to see what was going on.
David explained at the start of the clip, “We’re gonna jump on a bus and we’re gonna give the passengers a little private performance. Low key, just kind of freestyle it.”
“I think bus journeys need to be more like this,” he later added.

David also gushed: “You guys are amazing. Thank you, we just wanted to get a little vibe going on.”
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long before word got round on social media that David had chosen to take public transport Tuesday afternoon.
