Shawn Mendes not only treated fans to two new songs last week, but he’s also now announced he’ll be performing on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” for an entire week starting June 4.

The 19-year-old kicked things off by taking the stage during Wednesday’s show to perform his latest single “In My Blood”.

However, clearly one performance wasn’t enough and Corden then confirmed after finding Mendes’ toothbrush in his mug that the musician may as well just move in… for a week at least.

Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to take to Twitter to gush over the Canadian singer-songwriter’s performance. Many called the whole thing “incredible,” while others couldn’t resist saying how “amazing” their favourite star was.

The teen’s latest appearance comes after he spoke to Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe about putting his emotions on the table for “In My Blood”.

He also said the lyrics were based on his own battle with anxiety.

“It was kind of something that hit me last year. Growing up, I was a pretty calm kid. I knew people who suffered from anxiety, found it kind of hard to understand, and then when it hits you, you’re like, ‘Oh my god, this is crazy.’”

Despite all of this though, Mendes assured fans that he’s doing okay.

He told Lowe: “When I play that song, I go, ‘Just so you know, I’m okay.’ The best thing about it is that it’s not all down. The whole reason I wrote the song was to be like, ‘At the very end, it’s not in my blood to do that.’”
