Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda is releasing a solo album.
Post Traumatic will drop in June but features two tracks that fans can listen to now: “Crossing A Line” and “Nothing Makes Sense Anymore”.
Shinoda’s album comes in the wake of the death of Linkin Park co-lead Chester Bennington who died in July 2017. The album was born out of the healing process following Bennington’s tragic death, which Shinoda labels as “a journey out of grief and darkness, not into grief and darkness.”
Shinoda tells NME he hopes Post Traumatic will help others like him find healing.
“If people have been through something similar, I hope they feel less alone. If they haven’t been through this, I hope they feel grateful,” he says.
