Jeff Goldblum has had a long and impressive movie acting career and now he’s looking back on his biggest roles.
In a new video for Vanity Fair, the “Isle of Dogs” star traces his timeline all the way back to the beginning.

“I’m a lucky guy,” the 65-year-old says. “This is one of the themes of my lucky life, because I coincided, I intersected with a lot of important directors in some of their most important movies.”
The first movie he looks back on is his first role ever, in the 1973 film “Death Wish”.
Goldblum also talks about filming David Cronenberg’s “The Fly” in Toronto in the middle of winter. “I loved doing that movie,” he says. “I was very passionate about it.”

Next up is “Jurassic Park”, and Goldblum recalls advocating to director Steven Spielberg to keep the his character in the film after he was told that he may be cut out of the script. “It turned out that I got to be in it, and that’s the way it goes.”
On his recent role in “Thor: Ragnarok”, Goldblum said he enjoyed working with director Taika Waititi and improvising most of his lines.
