The classic zombie formula gets a boost of emotion and suspense when Martin Freeman stars in “Cargo”.

The post-apocalyptic zombie thriller stars Freeman as a father named Andy who is infected with a killer zombie virus. Andy only has 48 hours to find a new guardian for his infant daughter, before he becomes her biggest threat.
“Cargo” takes place in rural Australia and features a cast including David Gulpilil, Anthony Hayes, Caren Pistorius, Susie Porter, and Simone Landers.

The film is a remake of the 2013 short film of the same name. It originally premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival in 2017 and will debut globally on Netflix on May 18.
