Dwayne Johnson may be expecting his second baby girl with partner Lauren Hashian, but the actor has now admitted he actually has a huge crush on somebody else… Frances McDormand.
The 45-year-old, who is also a father to 16-year-old daughter Simone with ex-wife Dany Garcia, opened up about his love for the “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” actress on Tuesday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
His crush on the star came up after DeGeneres, 60, spoke to Johnson about his teenage daughter serving as the Ambassador at the Golden Globes back in January.
He explained, “One of their many jobs is to usher the winners off stage,” before he went on to tell the talkshow host what happened when McDormand picked up her Best Actress award.
The “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” favourite gushed, “She goes up there, I love Frances as we all do, she goes to speak and right before she speaks she turns around and walks to the back of the stage and shakes Simone’s hand. Out of the blue, it just blew me away. No-one did that and she had the awareness to do this to my 16-year-old daughter.”
Johnson then said: “I’ve been meaning to call her… Ellen, I’ve got a little crush,” before he added straight down the camera: “We’re going to have to exchange numbers because just between you and I [Frances] we’re going to get married. Lauren’s down with it.”
Johnson’s appearance also saw him speak out about expecting another baby girl in around three weeks.

The star, who discussed his gorilla research for his latest movie “Rampage” on the show as well, told DeGeneres that despite his 2-year-old daughter Jasmine previously being up for having a little sister, she’s since changed her mind.
Johnson admitted, “Out of the blue about a week and a half ago, she goes ‘I don’t want a baby sister.’ [I said] ‘OK sure, we’ll talk about it. Finish your breakfast then we’ll talk.’ So, I’m in trouble.”
