The Russo Brothers — Anthony and Joe — are asking fans to keep the details of their latest film a secret.
The “Avengers: Infinity War” directing duo posted a message on Twitter Tuesday addressed to “the greatest fans in the world,” imploring fans to let everyone experience the Marvel team-up movie fresh.
“Everyone involved with the film has worked incredibly hard for the past two years maintaining the highest level of secrecy,” the note read. “Only a handful of people know the film’s true plot.”
“We’re asking that when you see ‘Infinity War’, in the coming months, that you maintain that same level of secrecy so that all fans can have an equal experience when they watch it for the first time,” the brothers wrote of the film, which opens April 27.
“Don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”
Many plot details of the film are unknown outside of what has been revealed in the trailers, but there are many rumours about possible character deaths, particularly Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Chris Evans’ Captain America.
